When a customer presents the confirmation email or gift receipt at the counter, simply scan the QR code (with any mobile device…no login required) to determine if the special has already been redeemed or whether there is still a value remaining on a gift card.
To redeem a Special and prevent duplicate usage, submit the code bowl to mark it as redeemed. Specials can also be manually marked as “redeemed” in the “Sales” section of your account.
To reduce the balance remaining on a Gift Card, enter the value used during the current visit and submit the code bowl to update the gift card. Any remaining funds can be used on a subsequent visit. Our system will track the balance for you. Once the remaining balance reaches $0, the confirmation email/gift receipt is no longer valuable and the customer can discard it. Gift Card balances can also be manually adjusted in the “Sales” section of your account.
