Copy and paste this link into your website, social media posts, etc. to direct your customers to your online sales page. Don't forget to download the "Advertising Package" which contains a printable Flyer along with various social media graphics which you can display in-house and online…all customized for your special or gift card!

Events are perfect for group get-togethers such as New Year’s Eve parties, year-round private functions or fundraisers. They offer more options than a traditional Special and are used for a specific date and time of redemption. The sales period for an event can be scheduled to begin and end at specified dates, multiple time slots with variable pricing can be offered and a maximum number of online purchases for each time slot can be stipulated. Have a split centre…create events for fivepin & tenpin separately.

Note: Gift Certificates are not provided for events...only specials.

ALL DAY OR SINGLE TIME SLOT EVENT works best with an all-day event or if there is a single, stipulated time. Customer purchases online, and can redeem on the date/time stipulated for the event.

MULTIPLE TIME SLOT EVENT works best when there are multiple redemption times to choose from. Customer purchases online for a specific time (ie. 4:00pm, 6:00pm, 8:00pm) and must redeem as per the time and date purchased.

POP-UP EVENT
Find yourself with an unusual number of open lanes because a league or private party cancelled on you?  Maybe the weather is keeping your customers away? Make an event out of it and offer those empty lanes at a last-minute price to the public. Simply choose your time & price and schedule the online sales period to automatically begin and end at your discretion. Sell any spots at the counter? Simply log in and record the “offline sale” to prevent overselling. If you always seem to have empty lanes on a particular day/time of the week, we suggest creating Special instead.

FUNDRAISERS & PRIVATE GROUPS
Scouts Canada hosts an annual fundraiser at your centre.  Tickets are $100 per lane. If you have 12 fivepin lanes, you can offer 12 spots available for purchase. Tickets sales are purchased online and stop when sold out or the sales period ends. The organizer of the group can direct the scouting community to your website to purchase tickets. Schedule the online sales period to begin and end as needed.  Sell any spots outside the online portal? Simply log in and record the “offline sale” to prevent overselling. Also works with multiple time slot events (see next tab for example).

HOST AN OPEN HOUSE, DROP IN OR ALL DAY EVENT
Want to host an all day, drop-in, Open House event?  Create an event to offer as many spots as you wish for sale that day. Specify the date (and optionally…time range) and name your price.  Schedule the online sales period to automatically begin and end at your discretion. Sell any spots at the counter? Simply log in and record the “offline sales” to prevent overselling.

FUNDRAISERS & PRIVATE GROUPS
Scouts Canada hosts an annual fundraiser at your centre with an afternoon shift for families and evening shift for night-outers.  Tickets are $75 per lane in the afternoon, $100 each in the evening. You can offer a different number of spots available and price for each time slot. Tickets sales are purchased online and stop when sold out or the sales period ends. The organizer of the group can direct the scouting community to your website to purchase tickets. Schedule the online sales period to begin and end as needed.  Sell any spots outside the online portal? Simply log in and record the “offline sale” to prevent overselling.

NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY
Host the final party of the year at your bowling centre! Offer up to 10 time slots on December 31st. Stipulate how many spots are available for each time slot. If you have 12 fivepin lanes, perhaps you’ll offer 12 spots available for purchase for each time slot.  Or maybe you’ll offer 12 spots at 4:00pm at $35 per spot, 8 spots at 6:00pm at $50 per spot, etc. Schedule the online sales period to automatically begin on December 1st and end on December 26th. Sell any spots at the counter? Simply log in and record the “offline sale” to prevent overselling.

After creating your event, be sure to download the “Event Package” which contains an information sheet along with a printable Flyer and various social media graphics which you can display in-house and online…all customized for your event!
